What methods of payment do you accept?

You can pay for your order online by using the following: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta/Connect or Maestro and PayPal. We do not accept cheques or cash.

What is Verfied by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode?

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode are services that protect your card details with a personal password, designed especially for customers who shop online to give added security. They allow you to create your own password, which only you know, to use every time you shop online using these cards.

You need to register your card with a password. You need only do this once, then whenever you use the card to shop online you will be asked to enter the password when you check out.

You can do this as part of the check out process. When you confirm your order you may be asked by your bank if you wish to register your card. If you click yes, you will be directed to the bank’s website in order to do so. Alternatively you can contact the issuer of your card directly to register the card. To find out more about these services, visit the Verified by Visa website or the Mastercard SecureCode website.

Why do you need my mobile number?

If we have any problems with your order or shipping we may contact you via telephone. We will not pass on your telephone number to any third parties apart from our courier company for delivery information.

Will I be charged import duty or GST on my order?

All import duties and GST are covered by Sweaty Betty.

Why is it that there are things on the website that are out of stock?

We do try to keep the website up to date so that this doesn’t happen, however sometimes items sell out really quickly. When this happens we try our best to offer alternatives or let you know when they will be back in. We know this can be frustrating and are working hard to stop this occurring.

What is a pre-order?

Items on pre-order are usually new products that have not come to market yet. We give you the opportunity to order them before they come into stock, however you will usually have to wait a little bit longer for these items. Our product pages show 'weeks wait' if an item is on pre-order, this is to tell you how long you will have to wait for your product.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Unfortunately we do not currently sell gift vouchers in Australian dollars.

What can I do if something is wrong with my order?

How much is postage?

Standard shipping and handling charges are free. Express shipping and handling charges are free when you spend $1000 or more, or $30 for orders under $1000.

How long will I have to wait to receive my order?

For standard shipping please allow up to 7 business days for delivery of your order. Please allow 4-5 business days for express shipping. Read more about our shipping information

My order will be a gift; can I have a gift receipt?

Yes, simply add a free of charge gift message or gift wrapping to your order during checkout and it will be sent with a gift receipt.



What is your returns policy?

We want you to be delighted when you shop with us but we understand that when purchasing online, you may occasionally want to return items that are not suitable. Read more about our returns policy >.

How do I return something if I need to?

We understand that you may occasionally want to return items that are not suitable and are very happy to help you choose something else or offer a full refund.

Can I exchange an item from my online order?

Yes. We are very happy to offer free shipping and apply original discounts to replacement orders. Please see full details here.

How do I return an item?

How to return an item

You will receive a receipt/invoice in your parcel. It is very important when you return an item that you include the tear-off returns slip, which can be found on the right hand side of your invoice. If you are unable to do this, please print out your order details from the website or your order confirmation email and indicate which items you are returning and include this in the parcel.

If the items you wish to return have been delivered in separate parcels please return them to us in one parcel with the corresponding return sections. By doing this we will be able to process your refund faster.

  1. Please complete the returns section on the front of your invoice using the returns codes listed.

Please note packages must be returned prepaid. The cost of returning items back to us is not refunded. Please note that when sending a return, the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us. Always retain proof of postage.
how will I know you have refunded me?

Once our warehouse has received your returned items we will credit the card used to pay for the order and send you a confirmation email. Please allow at least 2-3 working days for the refund to appear in your account. Please note that depending on your bank this may take up to 10 days.

I’ve received a gift, can I return it?

No refunds will be given on gifts unless refunded on to the purchaser’s card directly. You can exchange a gift by contacting customer care.

Do you have a size guide?
What length are the short, regular and long legs?

Short length is approximately 29.5” (75cm), regular length is approximately 31.5” (80cm) and long length is approximately 33.5” (85cm). See our size guide for further advice. Please note that these are approximate lengths only, there are slight variations dependent on the size that you order.

Do you cater for all bust sizes and would I need to wear a bra if a top has built in support?

We cater for both the big and smaller busted lady; there are styles and sizes to suit both. Some of our technical tops come with hidden support but we recommend that you also wear a sports bra if you are above a C cup. Our sports bras go up to an F cup and have different impact levels depending on your size and the type of exercise you are doing. View our bra guide.

I am pregnant, do you sell maternity wear?

A lot of moms-to-be wear Sweaty Betty because our fabrics are often stretchy. We have also had great feedback about our roll down pants, because they can be worn rolled over or under the bump.

How do I wash your clothing?

All of our clothes have washing guidelines on them. You should never wash our technical fabrics with conditioner as it clogs up the pores and stops the fabric from ‘wicking’ the sweat away from your skin. For more information, please check the product pages.

Where are Sweaty Betty clothes made?

We source manufacturers and suppliers from all around the world. Please see our fabric guide for more information on our fabrics. We take care to ensure that they not only comply with the Sweaty Betty brand guidelines, but also International laws regarding working conditions. All of our Sweaty Betty clothes are designed by our own London based design team.

What fabrics does Sweaty Betty use?

Sweaty Betty uses beautiful, performance enhancing fabrics. Our Buying team select these fabrics carefully not just to make sure you look and feel good, but because they have technical properties to enhance your workout or practice. 



Why do you want my email address?

Primarily so that we can contact you if there is a problem with your order; we find that most people respond faster this way. We will also contact you to let you know our latest news or special offer, however if you do not wish to hear from us we can take you off our list. The quickest way to do this is to unsubscribe from the last/next e-mail you receive from us. Go to the bottom of the e-mail, click unsubscribe and you will be taken off our e-mail list. Otherwise e-mail us at customercare@sweatybetty and we will unsubscribe you from the list.

How do I use an offer/discount code?

To use a valid Promotional/discount code you can either enter it into the promotional code box on the "my bag" page and click on apply or you can enter this into the promotional code box on the checkout page and select apply to ensure that your discount has been applied. If you have a catalogue you will find your promotional/discount code on the back cover.

Do you give discounts to people who work in the fitness industry?

Yes! We offer a 20% discount for fitness professionals only with a qualified teaching certificate. If you wish to shop online please send proof of your position or qualification to customercare@sweatybetty.com, then as soon as we have received the appropriate information we will activate your account, the discount will be automatically applied to your basket when you have logged in.

How do I use my Fitness Professional discount when ordering online?

To use your industry discount online we first need to make sure your online account has been set up. Please email us at customercare@sweatybetty.com or call us on Toll Free +611800560149 with your member card number or personal information and we will set you up with an online account at www.sweatybetty.com. Then all you have to do is make sure you sign into your account before placing any items in your basket and the discount will automatically be calculated.

What do I do if I forgot to enter my discount code?

Unfortunately once you have placed and confirmed your order we are unable to honor your discount code. This must be entered in while at the check-out before you enter in your payment details.

Why won’t my offer code work?

First, check if you are on our USA,UK, AU or EU website. It is most likely that your offer code is not working because it has either expired or it is not a valid discount code for that Sweaty Betty website. Many of our offer codes are also for one use only and will not be valid for a second use.

Can I use 2 offer codes at once?

While we all agree this would be really nice, unfortunately only one offer is valid at a time. If you do have 2 offers we suggest using the larger discount.

All shipping offers and promotional codes apply to one order per customer on full price items only and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Regular shipping charges will be applied to all other orders thereafter.

My team needs some kit, can you help?

We offer a 20% discount on bulk orders from sports teams, premium studios and spas. In our dreams, because then we wouldn’t have to sweep the floor ourselves. In fact Sweaty Betty was the brainchild of Tamara (from England). The first shop opened in Notting Hill between a seven11 and a pawnbroker in 1998 and the website launched in 2000.
