Twelve Days of Christmas - Part 1/12 - Little Black Dress Love...
Hi Betties, OK, day one of our Twelve Days of Christmas Fiesta!! Let's have a little chat about slipping into the little black dress this party season!! So you've lunged, you've squatted, you've press-upped your way into fabulousness, but something is still amiss?? That side profile in the LBD is not what it should be!!! And there ain't no number of squattin', lungin' and press-uppin' that's gonna make a difference to the, what appears to be, a food baby in your tum!! 'Tis the dreaded bloat Betties, that kills all LBD fabulousness in seconds!!
So what to do? Well there are foods that can cause a little extra belly bloat! Best to be avoided darlings when one is trying to look svelte in the LBD!! The main culprits are wheat (bread, pasta, pastries, cupcakes etc) and dairy (milk, cheese, cream etc). You start filling up on these bad boys and your LBD look may be ruined!!!! So if you are heading out on the town, be sure to keep your food that day, nice and fresh, and avoid the wheaty, dairy stuff! Of course, some Betties get away with bloat-free wheat and dairy consumption, but I along with most Betties I am sure, suffer the dreaded bloat.
So be warned Betties, know your bloat foods, they are the enemy!! Are you ready for battle?? Until Monday sweeties...stay fabulous!!
