Practicing what we preach is one of the core Sweaty Betty beliefs and our new American flagship boutique is no exception.
From elite athletes to yoga instructors and dancers, the Sweaty Betty NYC team are serious about their fitness. Our boutique staff are not only able to advise you on the technical functionality and fit of the latest Sweaty Betty collection but give you first hand advice of what products they love to wear for their workouts day in, day out and what’s right for you.

Leanne, boutique manager

Born in Dubai and raised between France and England, Leanne has added yet another stamp to her passport as she has packed her bags and relocated from England to the Big Apple to manage the very first Sweaty Betty USA boutique. As professional track athlete Leanne puts her Sweaty Betty gear well and truly through its paces and having worked for Sweaty Betty in England for 2 years she knows how to bring the unique Sweaty Betty British style across the pond. .
Personal best: Hill sprint training in the muddy, freezing cold British Countryside.
Next big challenge: Getting through my rehab programme after rupturing my Achilles.
Favorite Sweaty Betty piece: It has to be the Velocity Jacket the color is amazing! I'm also addicted to my SoHo Sweat hoodie, it will keep me warm in the Manhattan Winter!

Samantha, boutique assistant

A native New Yorker, Samantha grew up in Queens. Samantha is a professional modern dancer and is currently working with the Mazzini Dance collective alongside her role at Sweaty Betty.
Personal best: Auditioning against 300 plus women for one spot in a top modern dance company.
Next big challenge: The TRX workout.
Favorite Sweaty Betty piece: The Vinyasa Yoga Capri. They are extremely soft and comfortable. They are very flattering and stay in place while I'm dancing.

Cynthia, boutique assistant

Cynthia was born and raised in New York City. A fan of the more traditional yoga styles, Cynthia is one of our resident yogis.
Personal best: Experiencing Yoga Nidra.
Next big challenge: Teaching a Yoga class completely in Spanish.
Favorite Sweaty Betty piece: Any piece that has the intergalactic print. I love the Adrenaline Galaxy Run Capris

Tavoya, assistant boutique manager

Originally from Tampa, FL, Tavoya hit New York 2 years ago after graduating college. A skilled basket player, Tavoya has been playing since she was 11 years old.
Personal best: Playing basketball varsity whilst still a freshman at high school and and being on an AAU team simultaneously.
Next big challenge: Boot camp on the Brooklyn Bridge.
Favorite Sweaty Betty piece: The Zero Gravity Run Tights. The print is amazing and I love that it can be worn with many different colors!

Krystle, boutique supervisor

Born in California, Krystle lived in Hawaii and St.Croix before moving to Brooklyn, NY. Krystle loves paddleboarding, spin and barre and, after discovering yoga at the age of 19, went on to train as a vinyasa instructor.
Personal best: Teaching full time within six months of completing my yoga teacher training.
Next big challenge: Mastering forearm stand and training for a biathlon.
Favorite Sweaty Betty piece: The Dynamic Yoga Leggings, flattering and 100% opaque!

Alison, boutique assistant

Originally from Alabama, a globe-trotter at heart, Alison has settled in New York City where, when not hopping from studio to studio trying out different yoga and dance classes, she can be found enjoying her runs along the East river.
Next big challenge: Yoga teacher training
Favorite Sweaty Betty piece: From a.m. to p.m., sneakers to platforms, I pretty much live in the Sensory Sweater.

Located between Spring and Broome at 77 Mercer street, Sweaty Betty SoHo is open from 11AM-7PM Monday through Saturday and from 12PM-6PM on Sundays.
