Behind-the-scenes Tour of the New Office

posted on Monday, 1st July 2013 | find under Tamara, Nutrition
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind at the Sweaty Betty Support Office. We’ve had shoots for the new season, been named the ‘Most Active’ in Britain’s Healthiest Company Awards and finalised an office move from The Glasshouse on Lettice Street to a fabulous three-storey space just off Fulham High Street.

We may only have moved one tube stop, but the bigger and better space feels like a whole new Sweaty Betty world. So far, we love our new address.

Right next to Putney Bridge and a very green Bishops Park, we are minutes away from everything we need – a lunchtime riverside walk, a stop by the Fulham Street boutique and a tube stop connecting us to the rest of London. Monday night’s Run Club takes us on a 5K alongside the Thames and gets us sweaty with an intensive half-hour boot camp.

Inside the office, we spend our downtime between our studio, where we practise yoga together on Wednesdays and pilates on Fridays, and our open-plan kitchen and seating area. In our old office, a nearby café moonlighted as an unofficial meeting room. We’ve tried to recreate the openness and relaxed feel of the café, where we can sit, whip up epic salads and talk strategy over wooden tables and plush leather chairs. A super-sized ‘American’ fridge holds our food, and growing plants abound to inspire green thumbs.

There’s Sweaty Betty product hanging everywhere you turn, walls covered in yoga mats, herbs and inspirational quotes, and old and new catalogues on coffee tables for us to flip through. We have one-to-ones in bean bag chairs and – come warm weather – we take our conversations outside onto the grass. The complex is called Fulham Green, after all, and it fittingly features a green and grassy front lawn.

We’ve adjusted quickly to our new office, and couldn’t be happier to call SW6 our Support Office home.
Fao: Georgie And Courtney: Road Show Manager Application
By Katie Sharman - 31st March 2014
Hi guys, I've just noticed that you're looking for a Road Show Manager to begin with Sweaty Betty - I'd love to apply for it. I've noticed that there isn't a deadline date for the application on the website, if I get my CV and covering letter to you by the end of the week, will I still be considered? Thanks in advance for the help, I look forward hearing back from you soon! Warmest regards, Katie Sharman
