Good, but not the best.Whilst I would recommend this product - I think describing it as providing exceptional protection is a bit mis-leading. I bought these two weeks ago to go to Lapland.
We returned today and the coldest temperature we faced was -16.
These boots couldn't really cope and my toes started to freeze. Sorel do other versions that seemed to provide better protection which other friends were wearing.
If you'd staying in the UK, they are lovely and comfortable. However they are definitely not 'baltic' wear.
Also, ensure you go up a size as they are rather snug - especially if you need thicker socks.

Very cosyBought these boots for a recent ski trip and have also been wearing them in the recent cold weather in the UK. They keep my feet so warm and that's with 'normal' socks on. In sub-zero temperatures a slightly thicker sock was used but probably not really needed. Have had so many compliments on them as they are a bit more stylish than your average snow boot, and of course they come with the quality you would expect from Sorel. I found them slightly on the small side so would size up if between sizes.
