I wear an XS in everything I order and the jacket was too tight in arms and shoulders. I love the design and look, but returned.

I absolutely love everything about this jacket - the style, fit, look and warmth - everything, that is, apart from the seams!
I have just got back from three days of skiing in the Alps where I wore this, and the soft-shell salopettes that I bought to match, for the first time. Both had frayed seams by the end of my weekend and I really hadn't been doing much energetic skiing at all! Several threads were coming loose after the first morning which just makes it look sloppily made - which isn't what I expect for the price.
I adore Sweaty Betty and buy all my active wear from you, but I have to say I am really disappointed by the quality in this case. When I buy ski wear I expect it to last for several ski holidays - not start falling apart within a couple of days!

I am size 12, big boobs, generally a M in Sweaty Betty. I have a brilliant ski jacket in size M that is from about 3 years ago. I tried on the L of this jacket and it was far too tight across the shoulders. It was also much longer than my previous jacket. Something wrong here.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by FitnessCoach Good Jacket, maybe not for skiing though!
The jacket is great, with plenty of pockets!!. However, I don't think the jacket is warm enough to be marketed as a ski jacket. However, It is great for outdoor activities in the UK and looks very smart.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by Welshy Worst sizing and proportions ever
BEWARE - for some inexplicable reason, the sizing of this jacket is all wrong - unless you are an extreme pear shape with non-existent shoulders. I am usually a very comfortable medium/size 12 in most brands - including Sweaty Betty. However, even the Extra Large was too tight across my shoulders - for a sport where all the movement is above the waist. Apart from the poor sizing, however, this is a beautifully designed, well thought out jacket. Please, please, please bring it out next season after some serious consultation regarding size and proportions!
