Giving back is at the heart of Sweaty Betty and goes hand in hand with our purpose: to inspire women to find empowerment through fitness. Giving back should be seen as both a local initiative and on a larger scale. We continuously seek to earn our place within our local communities, as a reference point for well being, particularly through our free clubs. We also recognise the importance of giving back on a larger scale and so each year, Sweaty Betty selects a charity on which to focus all of our efforts.

Sweaty Betty is proud to be the official clothing sponsor of Breast Cancer Care’s sporting events and challenges as well as their Pink Ribbonwalk events throughout 2010.

Sweaty Betty will be attending all four of Breast Cancer Care’s Pink Ribbonwalk events. There is still time to register for Blenheim Palace and Harewood House events so get a team together, dress in pink and come and have fun!

Every year 46,000 women and men receive the devastating news that they have breast cancer. The confusion and fear that this causes will be felt not just by the person diagnosed, but by their family and friends too. Breast Cancer Care wants to be there for every one of them, providing expert information and professional support when it’s needed most. At Sweaty Betty, we’re determined to help support them.

Sweaty Betty will be there to cheer on every individual who is taking on a sporting challenge and raising money to support people affected by breast cancer. What’s more Sweaty Betty HQ will be going the extra mile by participating in this year’s Bupa London 10K: wish us luck!
